IMPLEMENT
For companies aiming to adopt smart manufacturing technologies that enhance energy efficiency and lower carbon emissions, the Maryland MADE Program provides both technical and financial assistance to support these goals.
The Maryland MADE 4.0 Program Provides Access to:
Technical assistance
Through this program, the Manufacturers will have access to direct technical assistance capable of supporting in the identification, design, evaluation and eventual implementation of technology and automation solutions to support the organization. Technical assistance services may be provided at low-cost / no-cost to manufacturers.
Financial Assistance
Through funding from DOE, manufacturers will have the ability to apply for funding to support the implementation costs of new technology. This support might include engineering, installation, startup and commissioning of all new programs.
*Note: Financial assistance may not be used to directly purchase the technology, but the costs of services associated with the installation and commissioning may be eligible.
