Connecting the Manufacturing Ecosystem

Maryland MEP regularly serves as the convenor of partners, stakeholders and other contributors that make up the Maryland manufacturing ecosystem. In support of this, Maryland MEP continues to expand and support efforts to convene stakeholders, partners and other contributors to the manufacturing ecosystem to raise the level of awareness of manufacturing issues and opportunities, share knowledge and resources and gain alignment of efforts and initiatives.

Engagement with Industry

A key strategy of the Maryland Manufacturing Network is ensuring that manufacturers have the opportunity to share challenges, opportunities, and needs while providing an outlet and platform for them to share concerns. As part of this effort, partners and stakeholders will have the opportunity to engage with industry members, manufacturers, and business owners through a series of virtual and in-person events including informal networking as well as structured forums, educational events and roundtables to discuss key initiatives, programs and needs.

Champions of Manufacturing

Ensuring a strong voice for Maryland manufacturing at the federal, state, and local levels is vital for providing manufacturers the support needed to grow. The Maryland Manufacturing Network aims to raise awareness of critical programs and legislative initiatives, educate policymakers and stakeholders on manufacturing’s importance, and advocate for the industry’s collective goals. By championing these efforts, the Network strengthens Maryland’s manufacturing sector and fosters collaboration among industry, government, and community stakeholders.

Maryland has a strong community of stakeholders, partners and provider that help power and support the 4,000+ manufacturers that are proud to Make it in Maryland. This group has been created to provide a platform for all members of the Maryland manufacturing community to share, collaborate and explore opportunities for growth. This group will provide a platform to support the communication, recruiting, sharing and outreach needs of the manufacturing community in Maryland. The group is for Maryland manufacturing stakeholders only and dedicated to the companies, individuals and partners that manufacture products, parts, components and services in the State of Maryland.
