Applying for the CI&A FY25 Program

Tips, Best Practices and Questions Answered

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) has announced that the fiscal year 2025 Commercial, Industrial & Agricultural grant program has opened and is currently accepting applications.

Grants issued by this program support the implementation of energy efficiency upgrades in stationary facilities. The benefits provided by these technologies may include operational expense savings, emissions reductions, health and safety compliance measures, and productivity enhancements.

Typical investments include:

  • Building insulation and envelope improvements
  • Lighting and controls
  • Variable frequency drive motors
  • Refrigeration
  • Heating, ventilation and air conditioning upgrades
  • Qualified industrial process equipment

Join Maryland MEP and MEA for an informational webinar.

We will share best practices, insights, project eligibility criteria, and answer as many questions as we can in an effort to help you put forth a strong application. MEA will also share details on additional grants and loan programs for manufacturers.

Prior to and following the webinar, Maryland MEP plan to assist the manufacturing community with the application process, including assistance with necessary calculations of the energy consumption baseline for the facility(s) and the estimated energy savings generated by their projects (in kWh, therms, etc.) in relation to these baselines.
