Universal Robot (UR) Core Training
Collaborative robots (cobots) are transforming modern manufacturing by increasing flexibility, productivity, and safety in automated processes. This two-day Universal Robots (UR) programming course is designed to help technicians, engineers, integrators, and manufacturing personnel build the skills and confidence needed to safely program, optimize, and deploy UR robots in real-world applications.
Participants will learn foundational robotic concepts, including safety principles, robot operation, program structure, and application workflow design. Through hands-on training with a UR robot, students will gain practical experience programming common applications such as pick and place, palletizing, polishing, and dispensing. The course also covers integration and control of peripheral equipment, including sensors, grippers, and conveyor systems, enabling participants to develop complete robotic solutions.
Attendees will build and refine robot programs multiple times during the course, optimizing application flow and improving efficiency. In addition, participants will become familiar with available online tools, support resources, and additional training pathways to continue expanding their robotic programming capabilities.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to safely manage a UR robot, develop and optimize common application programs, integrate peripheral devices, and confidently return to their own facility ready to implement pick and place, palletization, and other standard robotic applications independently.
Space is limited to 6 participants.
