PLC Programming & Applications Training 2026

PLC Programming & Applications

Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) play a critical role in modern manufacturing and industrial automation, enabling efficient control of equipment, processes, and systems. This two-day PLC programming course is designed to help maintenance technicians, electricians, and other technical personnel build the skills and confidence needed to modify, troubleshoot, and create PLC programs for real-world applications.

Participants will learn foundational PLC concepts, including system operation, input and output addressing, logic instructions, timers, counters, and program control functions. Through hands-on simulations and practical exercises, students will gain experience working with common PLC platforms and translating hardwired control logic into PLC-based solutions. Vendor-specific programming manuals will be demystified, making them easier to understand and apply on the job.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to edit and develop PLC programs, diagnose common logic errors, and apply programming techniques directly to their workplace. This practical, application-driven training ensures attendees leave with skills they can immediately use to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and control within their operations.
