Building Maryland’s Skilled, Safety-Conscious Manufacturing Workforce
The Maryland Manufacturing Skills for Success Bootcamp, delivered by Maryland MEP, prepares individuals with essential manufacturing knowledge, workplace skills, safety training, and job-readiness preparation. This hands-on, five-day program strengthens Maryland’s manufacturing talent pipeline by connecting employers with trained candidates and equipping job seekers with in-demand skills and certifications.
The Maryland Manufacturing Skills for Success Bootcamp is designed to support both manufacturers and individuals entering the workforce. Over five days, participants are introduced to manufacturing fundamentals, workplace skills, and essential math and measurement concepts needed for success in the industry. The program also includes OSHA 10 General Industry safety training and certification, along with core manufacturing foundations that support safe, efficient operations.
Participants gain foundational knowledge in manufacturing processes, communication, math, measurement, quality, lean principles, and workplace professionalism — all while earning valuable industry-recognized credentials. This proven program provides:

- Individuals with direct pathways to employment opportunities in manufacturing
