  • On-Demand Core Skills Training: Accessed through Maryland MEP’s LMS in partnership with Tooling U-SME, this platform offers flexible, self-paced manufacturing courses in safety, production, quality, and more—ensuring consistent, job-ready training anytime, anywhere.

Job Growth Support Program

This program targets Maryland manufacturing companies that are rapidly scaling due to new contracts, expansions, or market demand. It provides flexible, responsive workforce solutions including:

  • Custom Training Plans for both new hires and incumbent workers.
  • Curriculum Design Services to develop company-specific onboarding, SOP training, or technical skills modules.
  • Skills Gap Assessments to identify training needs and align development plans accordingly.
  • Process Improvement Training to enhance productivity and streamline onboarding as workforce size increases.

Advanced Manufacturing Opportunities

As Maryland manufacturers increasingly adopt automation, digital systems, and advanced technologies, the need for a highly skilled workforce continues to grow. This program supports employers in identifying, training, and retaining talent for technical roles such as technicians, machine operators, and programmers.

Maryland MEP provides comprehensive support through:

  • Education and Awareness: Helping employers and workers understand the evolving demands of modern manufacturing roles.
  • Technology Demonstration: Showcasing how advanced tools, equipment, and systems can be integrated into operations through hands-on demonstrations and site visits.
