As part of the Make It In Maryland Program, #MakeItInMD TourTalks offer a unique opportunity to dialog with peers in the manufacturing industry about best practices, challenges and solutions to moving the manufacturing enterprise forward. During #MakeItInMD Tour Talks, attendees will hear from the hosting company, receive a tour of the facility and network with other Maryland manufacturers.

Pillar Innovations is an industrial contractor based out of Grantsville, MD. Founded in 2007, Pillar Innovations was derived from its parent company, Beitzel Corporation, to focus on automation and electrical projects. From those beginnings Pillar’s capabilities have grown beyond automation and electrical to include engineering, custom machine building, robotics, communications, fiber optics, IoT, and fire suppression. Pillar’s target markets include manufacturing, oil and gas, and defense contractors.
Beitzel Corporation is an turnkey industrial contractor based out of Grantsville, MD. Beitzel Corporation was founded in 1974 to service coal mines and industrial facilities in the mountains of western Maryland.
